O-la-Moon-do Lake camp is a traditional sleep away COED summer program offered to boys and girls ages 6-14 from July 22nd to August 5th, 2022.
Our camp is located in The Berkshires Mountains, Western Massachussets, in the town of Hinsdale. O-La-Moon-Do Camp is on beautiful Lake Ashmere.
Our international language summer program is designed for campers ages 6-14 (rising freshmen). It combines land sports, water sports, fine arts and the traditional summer camp activities with the learning of a new language. We offer Spanish, English and French, instruction taught by qualified native teachers, who work year round teaching the subject with fun and motivating methods.
We also offer an incredible CIT program for students entering 10th and 11th in Fall 2022. An exciting opportunity to develop and practice leadership and responsibility skills while enjoying from the beautiful setting and making new friends.
Our sports program offers a wide variety of sports such as soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, basketball, pickle ball, archery, Ga-Ga pit, as well as all traditional games. Waterski, Golf and Horseback riding will be offered for an extra fee.
The camp is surrounded by hiking trails in the middle of the woods. The campers will have the chance to explore, and even pick different types of berries.
In order to keep it simple, and make campers feel at home and a sense of belonging, our campers will wear uniforms which will consist in a camp t-shirt and short, plus a camp rash guard for all the aquatic activities.
We hire counselors from all over the world, most of them teachers ready to take care of all campers, and make their summer an unforgettable one!
Our very own qualified and certified nurses and our fully equipped health center are ready to take care of the health of our campers.

AQUATIC SPORTS AT
LAKE ASHMERE
We offer all aquatic sports in Lake Ashmere. All campers will have daily swimming lessons, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding. In addition, O-la-Moon-do campers will enjoy a fun playground with rock climbing and trampoline on Lake Ashmere. Certified lifeguards will be on the lake for the safety of all campers.
LIFE AT O-LA-MOON-DO
O-la-moon-do facilities have 10-12 indoor spaces designed for arts and craft, dance, camp craft, photography, game room for rainy days, and more.
Our camp also has 5 brand new 2 story cabins to host 14-16 campers on each cabin. The bunks are very comfortable, all campers will have their own cubbies and storage place, plus private bathrooms and showers,
O-la-Moon-do’s food is delicious and healthy. We have our own chef who designed an international menu, well adapted to each camper’s tastes and allergies.
